It has baffled me for longer than I can remember that any intelligent woman would WANT to be come an integral part of a system that has suppressed, and oppressed, us for millennia. WHY is Kate Kelly even trying to get into priesthood meetings? She should be running for her life in the opposite direction.
Maybe someone should make her Google and read Steve Benson’s “From Latter Day Saint to Latter Day Ain’t.” An eye-opener about why he and his wife left the cult, and how his grandfather was propped up for photo ops when he was Prophet/President of the LDS Church…and helplessly senile.
IMO religion is “the oldest established permanent floating crap game in the world!”

Yes – Steve Benson’s biographical insights could be an invaluable aid to the less informed.
“the oldest established permanent floating crap game in the world!” ? I Love it. (Don’t be surprised if you see me use it.)
